The Romania-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry attended the Press Conference organized by the RESTO Association on July 18 in Constanta, where the launch of new charter flights between Tel Aviv and Constanța for the summer season was announced. This initiative is in response to the growing interest of Israeli tourists in the Romanian seaside, significantly contributing to the development of tourism in the area. The event highlighted the importance of this direct air link in strengthening economic and tourism relations between Romania and Israel.
Starting from July 25, 2024, three weekly flights will be operated, thus facilitating Israeli tourists’ access to vacation destinations on the Black Sea coast. This measure is expected to bring considerable benefits to the local economy, from increasing the number of tourists staying in hotels in Constanța and Mamaia to stimulating local commercial activities and services. In the long term, these charter flights can open new opportunities for collaboration and investment between the two countries, strengthening bilateral ties and promoting Romania as a top tourist destination for Israelis.
During the conference, representatives of the Romania-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry discussed the economic potential of this air route and plans to expand cooperation in various fields, including tourism, commerce, and technology. The strategic partnership between Romania and Israel will thus be reflected not only in the increase in the number of tourists but also in the development of joint projects that support economic growth in both countries.
