The Romania Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIRI) was established in 1990, based on a Government Decision, being the first bilateral chamber of commerce in Romania.
It is a non-governmental organization of public utility, with an autonomous and apolitical character, whose aim is to promote economic cooperation relations between Romania and Israel. CCIRI’s members include important Romanian and Israeli companies.
Since 1990, CCIRI has organized numerous economic missions to Israel on the occasion of important international exhibition events such as TECHNOLOGY, AGRITECH, MODERN LIVING, SECURITY, etc., focused on important sectors for economic cooperation, such as agriculture, food industry, electronics, medical equipment, high-tech, etc.
IT&C exhibitions have been annually organized in Bucharest, together with Globe Gate Ltd. from Israel and the Embassy of the State of Israel in Bucharest.
Since 1999, CCIRI, in collaboration with the Israel Export Institute, has organized annual business forums, alternatively in Bucharest and Tel Aviv, the forum in 2001 being dedicated to the 10th anniversary of its activity, and the following forums, on activity sectors (construction, tourism, IT, industry, etc.).
Through the quality of its services, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Romania-Israel has managed to attract significant foreign investments in Romania and support investors in finalizing their actions.
Romania’s accession to the European Union has significantly boosted Israeli investments in our country, especially in the real estate, services, and food production sectors, and CCIRI is ready to continue supporting Israeli investors’ efforts in various fields.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Romania-Israel is an associate member of the National Chamber of Commerce of Romania.
We are ready to offer consulting services through the member firms of the Chamber, in legal, customs, banking, as well as other fields.
