In the context of the rapid growth of global cyber threats, the medical sector faces major challenges in protecting patient data and ensuring the continuity of critical operations. Cyberattacks on hospitals and healthcare institutions have become increasingly frequent and sophisticated, endangering both patient safety and the integrity of medical infrastructures.
To address these challenges, on July 2nd, the Romania-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry, alongside the Economic Mission of Israel to Romania and the Israel Export Institute, had the honor of organizing the event “Cyber for Hospitals.” This was an important opportunity to bring together health and IT specialists, cybersecurity integrators, and representatives of public and private hospitals in a joint effort to share the best Israeli practices in cybersecurity.
During the event, top Israeli companies had the chance to present their innovative solutions and expertise in cybersecurity. These companies discussed valuable perspectives and cutting-edge technologies that can ensure the safety of medical data and operations. The topics addressed included:
Patient Data Protection: Advanced methods for encrypting and protecting sensitive data.
Cyberattack Prevention: Solutions for identifying and neutralizing threats before they impact the infrastructure of hospitals and clinics.
IT Security Management: Effective strategies for the constant management and monitoring of the security of hospital networks and IT systems.
We are deeply grateful to all participants for their presence, both online and in person. We also wish to especially thank the presenters for their efforts in highlighting the latest innovations and solutions in cybersecurity, thereby contributing to the success of this event.
